News A polar air mass will bring to Spain winter weather and temperatures drop.

A polar air mass will put the end to warm and stable weather of the last two weeks because it will cause over the week a sharp weather change with marked drop in temperature in most of the country, according to the Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

Thus, is expected that this mass of polar air will penetrate from the north and along the week will affect the entire peninsula and Balearic Islands.

The widespread drop in temperatures will come at the beginning of the week because of northerly and the snow level will drop considerably, while the precipitations will decrease. The snow level will drop to 700-1000 meters approximately in the north of Spain.

In the Mediterranean, in the province of Alicante the weather will be stable without precipitations and minimum temperatures between 6 and 9 degrees and maximum between 19 and 22 degrees.
